As someone from the Faroe Islands who has spent countless hours on traditional Faroese boats, I must admit I was a little sceptical at first. But this tour far exceeded my expectations — it turned out to be one of the most memorable and enjoyable boat trips I've ever experienced.

The storytelling was engaging and heartfelt, the landscape was breathtaking, and the variety of wildlife was simply amazing. We had the joy of seeing seals, puffins, and a range of beautiful seabirds up close — a true highlight of the trip.

I can recommend this tour to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience!

The boat trip to Kalsoy with UpTur was the highlight of our visit. Sailing in a traditional Faroese boat through stunning fjords made us feel completely connected to the local culture. The crew was incredibly welcoming and shared stories that brought the landscape to life. Highly recommend if you want to experience the real Faroe Islands!

Enjoying a traditional meal in the old Fjós was an experience unlike any other. The cosy, restored shed created the perfect atmosphere for tasting homemade Faroese dishes — from the Fisheman´s meal to dried fish. Everything was full of flavour, heritage and storytelling. It felt like stepping into the heart of Faroese culture. Highly recommended!
